Pathways Forward
A Bronx-Based Initiative Supporting Underserved Residents, Led by Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services CDC, Inc.
Introducing
Pathways Forward (Wraparound Services)
Pathways Forward: Bronx Residents Support Initiative is a comprehensive program created by Bronx Neighborhood Housing Services CDC, Inc. (Bronx NHS) to address the multifaceted needs of our communities in the Bronx. A longstanding nonprofit organization, Bronx NHS is committed to enhancing the stability, economic security, and overall well-being of Bronx residents.
Pathways Forward expands this commitment by providing essential services through partnerships with community-based organizations, offering a robust support network that helps Bronx residents overcome challenges in healthcare, housing, language proficiency, legal access, workforce development, food security, and mental health.
Empowering Underserved Bronx Communities to Succeed.
Economically challenged residents in the Bronx face numerous obstacles, including limited access to healthcare, language and job readiness support, stable housing, and nutritious food. Pathways Forward addresses these needs through a culturally responsive, integrated approach that includes health services, housing assistance, workforce training, language education, legal support, food distribution, and mental health resources. Strategic partnerships with organizations such as SOMOS, Good Neighbors Community Outreach Agency, and Choose Life International help ensure these services are both accessible and effective.
With Pathways Forward, Bronx NHS is positioned to drive meaningful change for underserved Bronx residents by promoting stability and self-sufficiency. The program is seeking funding to establish and sustain this vital support network, laying the groundwork for long-term community resilience.
Investing in initiatives like Pathways Forward empowers Bronx residents to overcome systemic barriers, improve their quality of life, and contribute more fully to the borough’s growth. Supporting these efforts is not just about helping individuals—it’s about strengthening the Bronx as a whole.
